Magical.

I must make an amendment to my previous statement "There really is nothing more magical than falling asleep on a teeny, tiny island where you and the waves are the only voices in earshot." I was wrong. There is something just as magical, if not more and that is waking up on a teeny, tiny island ;)
The sunrise was (in one word) incredible! Watching from each and every nook-and-cranny of the island gave us countless bolts of purple, yellow, pink and orange. It was the perfect serving of breakfast. Well, that and another brick of raman...
Before sailing off (unhappily - we didn't want to leave!) from paradise we needed to walk the span of heaven once again and stop by the bird sanctuary!
(One of Half Moon Caye's principal inhabitants is the Red-footed Booby with a population around 4,000 breeding birds. Half Moon Caye supports what is considered the only viable breeding Red-footed Booby colony in the western Caribbean. The colony can be viewed from an observation platform located in the littoral forest on the western end of the caye)

After successfully hitch-hiking a boat 4 hours back to the mainland (Thanks Ramon's Village Resort!) it was the dreaded time. The time where we had to wave bye-bye to the little piece of paradise we called home for the night.
No, thank YOU, Half Moon Caye!
