After the luggage fiasco and countless lengthy visits to the Guatemala City airport I was over it and needed to be in a new country. Belize shined light and offered new hope. They really left me confident i'd receive my luggage. With that said we were there! We had already started THE road-trip that we had planned and dreamt about for almost 1 year.

Soooo you're wondering what to do the minute you cross the Western border into Belize?

After you're rejuvenated by some local comida y cervezas you do... this!

If you follow in our foot-steps and get as lost as we did (we're talking making circles around the village) the dip in the Roaring Creek in Guanacaste Nat.'l Park will be that much more refreshing ;)
