just walking around today i couldn't help but notice the hard evidence of the most recent massacre - the holiday christmas tree.
it's like a war zone out here: trees everywhere! trees left out to the curbs, trees placed upright against garbage pails & dumpsters & heck even living trees, trees just whipped onto the sidewalks, leaving walkers to hobble over the obstacles. most of these once alive creatures are freezing without any of their decorations which once kept them warm.
